PP sticker and cold lamination are the most commonly used materials for advertising printing companies.
Under the change of temperature in winter, some problems easily occur when printing and using. What are the causes of these problems? How to solve it? Perhaps the following ways will give you some ideas.
First, the picture has a "misty" feeling.
1.Probable cause: Insufficient pressure of filming
Solution: Adjust the pressure of the cold mounting machine;
2.Probable cause: The two ends of the cold film mounting machine are not smooth;
Solution: Adjust the screws and make the mounting machine space in equal distance;
3.Put through the cold film mounting machine, when touching the surface if there is no "rough" feeling, then according to the 2 method; Have "rough" feeling, then you need to replace the glue;
4.Probable cause: The glue viscosity is not good at low temperature;
Solution:
A. Increase the ambient temperature.
B. Replace the cold mounting film.
Second, there are "white spots" after printing.
1.Probable cause: The glue is not sticky enough.
Solution:
A. Increase the use of ambient temperature.
B. replace the cold lamination;
2.Probable cause: Glue is thin
Solution: The length of thin glue part is not long, generally it appears before and after the shutdown, you could cut these part away
3.Probable cause: The surface of the PP sticker and cold lamination have a rough feeling.
Solution:
Change the PP Sticker of cold lamination.
Or use the studio film to film the picture;
4.Probable cause: There is dust in the air;
Solution:
Purify the operating environment.
Close the source of the blowing or the inlet air;
5.Probable cause: Water drops (such as saliva) are accidentally splashed onto the painting surface.
Solution :
Pay attention to the operation, especially when speaking, do not face the picture.
Air temperature in a dry environment, e.g.: Turn on the air conditioner, hot air fan or ventilator. (This is especially important in winter.)
Third, there are "bubbles" immediately after filming.
Probable cause: The glue does not "ripened ";
Solution: Replace the material.
Fourth, there are "bubbles" after being placed for a period of time.
1.Probable cause: The glue is not ripened thoroughly.
Solution: Open the package, put it in the air for 2-5 days, let the glue in the natural conditions of full "ripening" (winter can be longer time in some extent.
2.Probable cause: The picture is not fully dried, especially in winter, because the ink in winter contains antifreeze, which is not easy to volatilize completely.
Solution: Allow the picture to be fully dry. Generally, it takes more time in winter than in summer and autumn. When filming the picture (you should pay attention to dust-proofed condition). The temperature in winter is lower, so it will take more time for the ink and antifreeze to begin operating.
3.Probable cause: It was only one single color in Large area, e.g.: All black/all red, etc.
Solution:
Lighten the color.
Change the ink.
Dry the picture fully (completely dry).
Heat the picture.
Replace the material, use the more sticky one.
4.Probable cause: The ambient temperature is so low that make the surface of the cold lamination hard;
Solution: Improve the ambient temperature when filming.
5.Probable cause: Cold laminating film is too thick;
Solution: Change to thin cold laminating film;
6.Probable cause: Wrap up immediately after filming, the glue is not fully integrated with the picture;
Solution: After painting, place it in flat place for more than 45 minutes and then roll up. It takes longer in winter.
7.Probable cause: The glue gets aging;
Solution: Replace the material.
